Fracking is a thorny issue. I know a lot of older people in America think it’s the answer to our energy woes. But the potential devastation fracking can cause makes me think it’s no solution — but instead a band aid that’ll cover up an infected wound that’ll only lead to environmental sepsis over time.
Revocation seemingly oppose fracking.
Today, the band released a video for the track “Fracked,” and it’s pretty obvious where they stand on the issue.
Madeline Quinn put together the clip with band frontman Dave Davidson, who took to the web today to promote the video.
“Lyrically, this song is about the rape and destruction of our environment at the hands of profit driven sociopaths — in other words a real feel good hit to brighten up your day,” says Dave, who writes a food column for GSA.
“We’ll be jamming this new tune on our upcoming tour, see you in the pit!”
